Let’s Talk BossFighters: A Guide to Proxy $BFT, BADGES, and Value Perks

BossFighters recently introduced its Proxy $BFT token, kicking off its in-game economy and providing players with a chance to earn within the BossFighters universe. This Proxy token is an interim currency that players accumulate by optimizing gameplay with BADGES and SHOWRUNNER CONTRACTS, later convertible into $BFT after the Token Generation Event (TGE). As players start earning with Proxy $BFT, the structure opens a range of choices for players to refine their strategies, whether through maximizing equipped items, combining perks, or utilizing special in-game assets. This launch not only offers direct earning potential but also introduces a system that rewards those who are savvy about the economy's mechanics.

While the BossFighters economy may share some structural similarities with other Web3 games, it stands apart in its reliance on Value Perks to drive potential earnings. Players have five BADGE slots available, allowing for stacking of more rewards in a single match, yet these badges alone aren’t always the secret to success. The real edge often lies in a careful setup of Value Perks that can outperform mere quantity of badges. According to the developers, "even if a player has five BADGES, a player with only one BADGE and a smart setup of Value Perks could still collect more tokens.” This shift towards strategic optimization is a core aspect of the game, highlighting how thoughtful gear combinations can yield better results than a high volume of badges alone.

SHOWRUNNER CONTRACTS are pivotal in the BossFighters economy, serving as a foundational element for crafting and equipping BADGES, which are the key to earning Proxy $BFT. These contracts are not just optional assets; they act as the main gateway for players to unlock more profitable, higher-tier badges with substantial rewards per match. Players can acquire SHOWRUNNER CONTRACTS through various means—whether winning them in in-game events, securing them through partner guilds, or purchasing them on the secondary market—offering flexibility for different player engagement levels. As a result, these contracts bring another level of strategy, allowing both casual and dedicated players to access high-quality gear depending on their approach.

Collectibles, including BADGES, weapons, and skins, are enhanced with Value Perks that amplify the amount of $BFT players can earn. Each collectible’s rarity impacts its earning potential, and with limited supplies of higher-tier items like Legendary and Mythic, securing these can offer players a strong advantage in earnings. Legendary items, for instance, offer three or more Value Perks, while Transcendent collectibles can offer up to five perks, making these items invaluable for boosting income per match. For players focused on optimizing rewards, accumulating a setup of rare, high-tier collectibles is an effective route to maximizing returns.

Disposable Badges, a unique addition, enable players who don’t own SHOWRUNNER CONTRACTS to still engage with the BossFighters economy. These temporary badges are obtained through special events rather than being available for purchase, allowing newcomers and those without permanent contracts to sample the economy and get involved without commitment. Disposable Badges also make competitive play more accessible, as they can be used in leaderboard challenges and other events, creating a more inclusive entry point for new players to experience the benefits of the Proxy $BFT system. This addition shows the developers' effort to cater to all types of players, from newcomers to experienced competitors.

Optimizing your setup with Value Perks goes far beyond merely equipping standard items, as each skin equipped also contributes additional Value Perks that collectively boost the total earning rate. Equipped skins have their own perks, allowing players to stack further bonuses across their loadouts and effectively increase their match rewards without investing in new badges. This approach not only gives players more control over their setup but also offers a substantial advantage in competitive leaderboards. By fine-tuning both items and skins for maximum synergy, players can achieve a high-value loadout that maximizes their Proxy $BFT collection in each battle.

Merging collectibles is a high-reward strategy for serious players, allowing them to combine lower-tier items into higher-tier versions, each offering better perks and greater rewards. As players merge items, they gain the option to selectively transfer certain perks, creating opportunities to build highly customized and powerful setups that optimize for earning Proxy $BFT. By focusing on a tailored combination of perks, players can ensure that their setup is perfectly aligned with their preferred playstyle, maximizing both in-game efficiency and rewards. This merging mechanism also introduces a layer of in-game crafting that allows players to continuously upgrade and adapt their gear.

The introduction of leaderboards adds a new level of excitement and competition for players, offering weekly rewards for top-ranked participants based on their earnings and in-game performance. To participate, players must engage in battles, earn Proxy $BFT, and use these tokens to craft or merge digital collectibles, which then translate into leaderboard points. Weekly rewards include SHOWRUNNER CONTRACTS and other rare in-game items, incentivizing players to optimize their gear and earn rewards continuously. With high stakes in leaderboard positioning, the economy fosters a blend of competitive and strategic gameplay where players are consistently rewarded for their efforts.

With the launch of Proxy $BFT and the supporting economy, BossFighters offers a unique system that rewards a strategic approach to both combat and item management. Players who can effectively manage their resources and perks will find ample opportunities to rise through the ranks and maximize their potential. Spotlight FAM Community Member: 7amedo

7amedo’s journey into Web3 gaming began by sheer chance. He entered the space when a friend introduced him to Big Time. "I played for a few months with my friend, but neither of us really saw any benefit, so when he stopped, I did too." Although Big Time didn’t capture his interest, it opened the door to a much larger world, setting him up for the experiences to come.

What truly captured 7amedo’s imagination was the competitive nature of BossFighters. He found himself drawn to the project after watching live broadcasts of gameplay during events. "I learned about BossFighters by watching it during live events, and that’s when I knew I wanted to play this game." The thrilling gameplay and unique competitive aspects were enough to keep him engaged, even though his computer couldn't initially run the game. Despite these challenges, 7amedo stayed involved, taking part in the community by watching streams and earning prizes. Eventually, a friend encouraged him to sell one of the rewards, allowing him to buy a new graphics card. It was a pivotal moment, enabling him to play BossFighters and even secure third place in the Halloween event.

For 7amedo, BossFighters represents more than just a game—it’s the project that gave him a true beginning in the Web3 gaming world. "I love competitive games, and BossFighters represents my start in this space," he says. His involvement grew as he earned hardware upgrades through stream events, and his passion for competition found a perfect outlet in the game. His recent success in the Halloween event marked an exciting milestone, reinforcing his love for Web3 gaming and his drive to keep progressing.

Although he considers himself early in his journey, 7amedo is fully committed to the world of Web3 gaming and determined to stay up-to-date with every new development. He knows that adapting and keeping pace with changes is vital. "Being able to continue in this field is a very big thing for me, and I must try to keep up with it in every way," he explains, emphasizing his excitement to remain part of the expanding Web3 landscape. He’s confident that technologies like VR will gain even more traction, and he’s eager to be involved in the scene before it reaches mainstream awareness.

When it comes to advice for newcomers, 7amedo has a straightforward message: "Have confidence in what you’re doing, and don’t listen to anyone who hasn’t tried it themselves." He stresses the importance of learning from more experienced players and keeping an open mind while avoiding baseless negativity. He sees the space as a rapidly evolving industry, one that’s poised for massive growth, and believes that those who are willing to take the risk will benefit from the rewards that follow.

Balancing gaming with other aspects of his life is a challenge that 7amedo has taken on with determination. As a university student, he’s constantly working to find that equilibrium between gaming and his studies. "It is difficult, yes, but I can balance them, even if only to a small extent," he shares. Despite the challenges, he finds fulfillment in managing both responsibilities, seeing his involvement in gaming as a necessary break that keeps him energized.

As he continues to grow in the Web3 gaming community, 7amedo gives credit to those who have supported him along the way.
